𝐈𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐜 🧄 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲?🧬 𝐎𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚 🧛♂️ 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭? The health benefits of Garlic 🧄 have been known for a long time unless you were a vampire 🧛♂️ of course and generally tried to avoid it. Garlic 🧄 contains organosulfur compounds which give cloves their characteristic odour and health benefits and can help to prevent the development of cancer, cardiovascular 🫁🫀, neurological 🧠, and liver diseases as well as allergies and arthritis. For example, epidemiological studies have shown that consuming Garlic 🧄 more than 3 times per week (might affect your social life!!! 🙊 ) but can significantly lower the risk of different types of cancer, such as gastric, stomach and colon. Foods rich in organosulfur compounds increase histone acetylation by inhibiting histone deacetylases, metabolites which remove acetylation from DNA 🧬 (Nian et al. 2009). Histone acetylation triggers tumour suppressing genes 🧬 which may decrease your chance of getting cancer. Eating garlic 🧄 and other alliums have been shown to decrease the risk of cancer (Fleischauer et al. 2001, El-Bayoumy et al. 2006, Milner 2006, Myzak and Dashwood 2006, Liu et al. 2007, Millen et al. 2007,Pittler and Ernst 2007, Sener et al. 2007, Nagini 2008 ). Muhdo Health research indicates one of the reasons why Garlic 🧄 is so fantastic in keeping you fit 💪🏻 and healthy is due to the allyl sulfides in increasing the activity of glutathione S-transferase (GST) and modulating the effects of the (CYP1A1, 1A2 and 1B1) genes.🧬 While most meta-analyses have used Garlic 🧄 in the form of Garlic 🧄 powder supplements, current evidence suggests aged Garlic extract (AGE) to be a more reliable treatment option. Aged Garlic 🧄 extract is regarded as safe ✅ and more tolerable than Garlic 🧄powder, and superior to raw or cooked Garlic 🧄 in relation to its antihypertensive properties.

𝐃𝐍𝐀12 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 🪫🥱 Muhdo Health launches a world’s first for health testing.🧬 What’s your 𝐃𝐍𝐀12 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤? 🪫🥱 We can all feel tired from time to time, but did you know that you could also be genetically predisposed to running low on energy or having issues with other areas which are associated with 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 such as: 𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐚 🪫 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 🥱 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐠 🧠 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 🏃🏾 🏋️♂️ Your 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 🧬 vs your 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤. Your 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 🪫🥱 looks at specific genetic markers 🧬 associated with the above topics, to show if you have a 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫 🟢, 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 🟠 or 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤. 🔴 We then combine these risk scores with a simple health questionnaire which will then allow us to better understand your lifestyle factors. This then calculates your 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 of possibly having some 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 🪫🥱  either now, or sometime in the future. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧’𝐬 🥗 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬?🧬 Now, when you were younger, we're sure that your parents told you to eat your 🥗greens, as apparently, they will keep us all fit 🏋️♂️ and healthy. Yes, they are packed full of beneficial vitamins and minerals that will do a whole variety of fantastic and important things within the body. But what other special nutrients are hidden away and contained inside your greens?🥗 Well one particular nutrient is a bioactive compound called Sulforaphane, which is found in certain cruciferous 🫑 vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, Bok choy and kale to name but a few. Studies 📚 have already shown that sulforaphane exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and may be beneficial against various diseases, such as autism, cancer, metabolic dysfunction, and may even help to reduce some of the harmful effects associated with exposure to air pollution. Sulforaphane is produced when you chew or cut your cruciferous 🫑 vegetables and two enzymes (Myrosinase and Glucoraphanin) mix and react. You can also buy various sulforaphane supplements 💊, but you really need to be careful, as the supplement 💊 market is a bit like to Wild West 🤠 with either the manufactures not understanding how to design and formulate a supplement 💊 correctly, and/or cutting costs and putting an inferior product out to market to make a higher profit margin. Many products on Amazon or Holland & Barrett etc will claim to contain sulforaphane when in fact they do not. If your products say broccoli seed extract or sulforaphane glucosinolate (sgs) it does not have any myrosinase and therefore will not liberate the sulforaphane, and in many ways you will be wasting your money. We (Muhdo Health) have found that a dosage 20-40 mg of sulforaphane per day. ·       Contributes to balancing phase I and phase II detoxification. ·       Activates master gene 🧬 regulator Nrf2. ·       Influences various pro-inflammatory 🔥genes 🧬such as NFkB, TNFa & COX-2 ·       Upregulates antioxidant capabilities through GSTP1 (Glutathione S- transferase P1) with the protection of DNA 🧬from oxidative stress. So, perhaps next time you are tempted to push your greens 🫑 around your plate think how powerful they are in relation to supercharging your genes 🧬 and possibly longevity. #health #muhdo #sulforaphane #superfood #dnatest #nutrigenomics #longevity #genetics #vegetables #supergreens #sulforaphane

𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃 ☀️ 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠.👵🏼 As we say goodbye to the last of the summers sun ☀️ here in the UK, we thought we could take a closer look at the “Sunshine vitamin” and ask the question? 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃 ☀️ 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬?👵🏼 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃 ☀️ 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 👵🏼 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬? Over the course of the last 7 years Muhdo Health have identified key nutrients such as vitamin D ☀️ and lifestyle interventions from 1000’s of time stamped and series epigenetic 🧬samples, as well as real time health and fitness data which have shown clear correlations for their positive effect on reducing biological age. From the epigenetic 🧬 data that we have seen, vitamin D3 intake was correlated with superior biological age scores. Individuals had either stable biological ages or reduced ages. Research📚 is clearly demonstrating the importance of vitamin D ☀️ on our health, such as with the enhancement and regulation of the innate 🦠 immune response, which is our first line of defence against bacteria, viruses 🦠, and infection. Unfortunately, vitamin D ☀️ deficiency affects almost 50% of the world’s population. Factors contributing to this include lifestyle factors, such as reduced outdoor activities ⛱️, old age 👵🏼, obesity 🍔, darker skin 👱🏿, living in northern hemisphere 🌍, air pollution 🚭, poor dietary choices and genetic factors. 🧬 Some studies suggest that around 900 genes 🧬, or 1/24 of your entire genome may be at least partially regulated by vitamin D, ☀️ which is found in every cell in the body and exerts its effect on target tissue such as bone 🦴, immune 🦠, skin, nervous, endothelial, hair follicle etc via the vitamin D receptor. The research is also demonstrating that many of the clinical effects of vitamin D ☀️ are due to the impact of it on the inflammatory genes and the immune- regulating role of the 🔥 pro-inflammatory and ❄️ anti-inflammatory cytokines. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 🧬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃 ☀️ Your genes 🧬 encode for a variety of predispositions and traits, such as your ability to process and absorb vitamins such as vitamin D. ☀️ Vitamin D ☀️ does not exert its effect due to it simply being present within the blood, which seems to be a popular misconception amongst most people. Active vitamin D ☀️ is synthesised firstly in the skin from a cholesterol precursor. The next stage is synthesis of the circulating molecule, 25 hydroxy vitamin D ☀️ in the liver, followed by 1,25 hydroxylation in the kidney which then exerts its effect through the vitamin D receptors (VDRs). Vitamin D ☀️ is not like other vitamins, which can predominantly be obtained by food sources. This is why getting your supplementation 💊 and nutrigenomic interventions right is critical in optimising the uptake of this crucial vitamin.

𝐃𝐍𝐀12🧬 Muhdo Health launches a world’s first for health testing.🧬 𝐃𝐍𝐀12🧬 has been uniquely designed, as your health is the result of a delicate balance between your genetic makeup and the lifestyle choices you make every day. Your genes provide a foundational blueprint, but they don’t work in isolation. Genetic 🧬 traits may predispose you to certain health risks, but it is often your lifestyle—diet 🍔, exercise 🏋️♂️, sleep 😴, and environmental 🌎 factors—that determines whether these traits are magnified or diluted. 𝐃𝐍𝐀12🧬  provides you with 2 scores. Your 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 🧬 and your 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤. Your Genetic Risk 🧬 looks at specific genetic markers 🧬 associated with a variety of health areas such as: 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 🥰 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐜 ❤️🩹 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞 🥱 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 🧠 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 👵🏼 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐬 ☠️ 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🚕 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲? Living and working within our towns and cities 🏬 can prove to be extremely detrimental to your health. As it will not only be affected by what you eat 🍔 and how much exercise 🏋️♂️ you might be getting each day, but also by your body's ability to remove waste products and toxins ☠️ known as 'xenobiotics'. So, a question that needs to be asked is! Is there anything you can do to remove these toxins ☠️ from your body and hopefully negate the horrible effects of pollution? It is essential for all of your cells to be able to rid themselves of toxins, whether these toxins come from your environment 🌎, such as pollution, diet 🍔, smoke🚭, pesticides, or from your own cellular activity (especially when we exercise 🏋️♂️ ) Toxins such as Benzene 👩🏽🔬 will interfere with your cell's ability to function, which can lead to the development of many diseases ☠️. Your body must be able to remove these toxic substances efficiently before they do significant harm, with your liver being the primary organ that carries out this process. Its function is to render toxic ☠️ substances less harmful, allowing them to be successfully flushed from your body. Other parts of the body that carry out detoxification include the skin, lungs, kidneys, and colon. A healthy immune system is obviously extremely important to us all. As every minute of every day your body is either under attack from toxins, bacteria, and viruses 🦠 or producing reactive oxygen species (ROS), also referred to as free radicals. Research is demonstrating that free radicals cause oxidative stress and damage your DNA 🧬, which leads to ageing and underlies all disease processes, including cardiovascular 🫀disease, dementia 🧠 and diabetes, premature ageing and plays a role in the development of cancer. There are a variety of antioxidants genes 🧬 that we need to look at, such as MnSOD, CAT and GPX1 are known as the 'primary antioxidant' defence system, as they are far more effective in neutralising ROS than exogenous antioxidants, such as dietary vitamins C and E, carotenoids and polyphenols derived from plant foods. 🥗 This latter group is known as the 'secondary antioxidant' defence 🛡️system. The reason for the powerful effect of the primary antioxidants is that all three are enzymes that promote a chemical process but don't get consumed in that process. Consequently, these antioxidants can literally neutralise millions of free 🦠radicals per minute and will continue to do so for over 3 to 4 days until the enzyme is broken down within the cell and is replaced. Compared to the secondary antioxidants, which support the primary antioxidants, such as dietary vitamins C and E, carotenoids and polyphenols derived from plant 🥗 foods, have limited activity, as these are antioxidant molecules, which can only neutralise ROS once. Please read on in the comments

𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚 🔵 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬 🟡 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠!! 👆🏼👆🏼 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐭? We obviously don’t have to go into the well-publicised health benefits that Viagra 🔵 and Cialis 🟡 are renowned for? But a new area and possible health benefit that these drugs 💊 are now being studied 📚 for is within the anti-ageing community 👵🏼 and as to whether they will improve our longevity. Viagra (sildenafil) 🔵 and Cialis (tadalafil) 🟡 have obviously been shown to improve circulation, reduce blood 🩸 pressure and help alleviate erectile dysfunction. But they may also help us to slow the sands of time and improve our chances of living a long and fruitful life (and in more ways than one!!) Later this year, 240 mice 🐭 will start consuming food mixed with Viagra 🔵(sildenafil). Their aim is basically trying to understand and evaluate as to whether certain compounds can extend the lifespan in mice 🐭, with the goal of determining if they could do the same for us humans.🤓 These mice 🐭 are the latest participants in the Interventions Testing Program (ITP), which is a 22-year-old initiative funded and operated by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). When we look at this simplistically, if we can improve circulation via these types of drugs 💊 and improve oxygen, water 💧, and nutrient 🥕🍔🥗 flow around the body then surely that can only be a good thing? Viagra 🔵 and Cialis 🟡 target certain genes.🧬 Viagra 🔵 and Cialis 🟡 primarily act on the PDE5A gene 🧬 to inhibit the PDE5 enzyme, leading to smooth muscle relaxation and improved blood flow. They could also indirectly be affecting (RAS) the renin angiotensin system which is the hormone system that regulates blood 🩸pressure and the salt / water (fluid) balance within our bodies and genes 🧬 such as AGT, ACE, AGTR1 and eNOS3. This effect will obviously improve circulation and blood 🩸 flow, reduce hypertension, risk of stroke as well as improve immune 🦠 function and energy 🏃🏾 into older age.👵🏼 #viagra #circulation #longevity #genes #genetics #DNA #muhdo #mousestudy #antiageing #lifexpectancy
