  • We’re excited to announce our third Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Research Symposium, taking place on April 25, 2025. Building on last year’s successful event with over 170 attendees, this year’s symposium will cover identifying prodromal MSA, advancing early diagnosis and exploring biomarkers. We’ll also share the latest progress in MSA drug trials. We look forward to keeping everyone updated- https://lnkd.in/eK8mn_Wk Please note this event is for researchers, academics and Health and Care Professionals only. If you are living with MSA, or are supporting a loved one with the condition, and have questions about the programme, please get in touch and we will direct you to suitable resources.

Reflections from our amazing team day yesterday…….thanks to everyone who organised, ran, cheered and supported our efforts to raise valuable funds for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust 🧡🏃🏼♀️

What an amazing day we had yesterday at the Yorkshire Marathon! The rain did little to dampen the spirits of our 3 relay teams. Each team started together and finished together with huge smiles all the way round. Thank you to the team at Run for All for a wonderfully organised event. We would definitely recommend the Corporate Challenge! Thank you to everyone who braved the wind and rain to cheer us on and a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated to our fundraiser in aid of the Multiple System Atrophy Trust. We are delighted to have smashed our fundraising target to help this great cause continue to provide their essential services. THANK YOU! It’s not too late to sponsor our team! Please see the link in the comments. None of this would have been possible without the great sports at SJP Law who set their alarms for 5am on a Sunday morning to band together to get 3 teams around the 26.2 mile course. Thank you for taking part and making it a day to remember! Keep up the training whilst we find our next challenge! #YorkshireMarathon #sjplaw #teambuilding #marathonrelay

  • We’re excited to share that our entire organisation, including the Information and Services, Healthcare Professionals, Social Welfare Specialists, and Fundraising teams, came together in person to discuss the progress of our 2024-2027 MSA Trust Organisational Strategy. Later, we were joined by our Trustees to further review our strategic direction. We look forward to updating our members on the progress we’re making and how we plan to move forward in the coming years!

  • Meet Andy, our newly appointed co-Chief Executive. Andy has just celebrated 10 years with the Trust, where he has played a crucial role in developing our services for people affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA). His responsibilities also include implementing the Trust's strategy, improving services for people affected by MSA through liaising with external organisations and ensuring effective safeguarding . Andy’s extensive experience and dedication to supporting everyone affected by MSA make him an invaluable asset to our team as we continue to advance our mission of finding the cause and eventually a cure.

Team SJP Law have been clocking up the training miles ahead of Sunday’s Yorkshire Marathon Relay. We have seen some lovely sun rises, super moons and beautiful cows on our training routes and are race day ready! 💪 The Team WhatsApp notifications are pinging away with song suggestions for our playlists, the best race day snacks and how many emergency ponchos we need to order! We are so grateful for the support for Team SJP and the Multiple System Atrophy Trust. There is still time to support this great cause and help get our 3 Relay Teams over the finish line in what looks like a wet and windy Sunday. We are so proud of all our team members and their pre-race efforts. Thank you to everyone who is taking part and a BIG thank you to our supporters. Watch this space for post-race photos! #YorkshireMarathon #sjplaw #teambuilding #marathonrelay

I know this goes against the usual LinkedIn post style...but my 61 year old Dad is cycling 100 miles to raise money for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust as his best friend has the disease. If anyone could donate, or share, that would be so amazing! He's raised £1,000 so far but his target is big and we need your help to get closer! He's an amazing Dad and I really want to help him achieve his goal! https://lnkd.in/eZ8iXc65 #charity #donate #businesscharity #pleasedonate #viralmarketing #share #msatrust #charitybikeride #cycling

  • Our MSA Nurse Specialist, Emma Saunders, and our Head of Operations for Information and Services, Emma Rushton, are representing the MSA Trust at the annual International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. This is the one of the largest gatherings of specialists, healthcare professionals and researchers in the world. We look forward to raising the profile of MSA and the work of the Trust and learning lots to bring back to our team.
