💜 Today is World Menopause Day ➡️ According to the NHS, an estimated 13 million women across the UK are “currently peri or menopausal”. However, many women do not know that as their oestrogen levels decrease during menopause, their risk of developing cardiovascular disease increases. ⬇️ The PocDoc Healthy Heart Check offers women an easy and convenient way to monitor their cholesterol levels and take charge of their heart health. Especially as the problems associated with menopause are not commonly known, PocDoc stands strong in bringing awareness to women's health. 💜 Together with regular heart health checks, the burden of cardiovascular disease can be significantly reduced for women!

PocDoc and Cumbria Health launch an initiative to deliver over 9,000 health checks across Northwest England's workplaces as part of a national cardiovascular disease prevention program. ✍ Here are the highlights: 1) Combining PocDoc’s advanced Microfluidic technology and AI for quick, in-workplace cardiovascular screenings. 2) Results in 10 minutes, easing healthcare worker burdens and enhancing preventive care. 3) Access to rural areas to ensure everyone in communities has access to critical health checks. 🤝 Richard McGregor Head of Digital and Performance at Cumbria Health says: " We are excited to be partnering with PocDoc on the delivery of Health Checks in workplaces across Cumbria. As the only provider in the North of England using a digital solution for this programme, this partnership strengthens our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our population."
