We’re Nadara, one of Europe’s largest renewable energy independent power producers. We own and operate more than 200 renewable energy sites across Europe and the US, producing electricity from wind, solar, waste-to-energy, and biomass. Every day, we harness the power of nature for good. The most obvious way is by generating dependable renewable energy, but this is just the beginning. We strive to make a deeper impact, seizing the opportunity to live renewable energy in the decisions we make and actions we take, both big and small. We call this living energy. It sees us connecting with people, contributing to communities, and caring for the natural world. Guided by our values of impact, care and connection we work together to make our global and local impact as positive as possible.

The Nadara - BlueFloat Energy JV in Italy is taking part in the ‘Accademia dell’Energia del Mare’, the postgraduate and diploma training course for 22-29 year-olds who want to work in the offshore wind business. The Academy was born from the collaboration between the offshore association AERO Associazione delle Energie Rinnovabili Offshore and the ELIS Training Centre, and was presented yesterday in Rome. “We, in Nadara and BlueFloat Energy, have enthusiastically collaborated with ELIS and AERO since the birth of this initiative to contribute to the development of the Academy, making our skills available to young people interested in the offshore world and offering them the possibility of paid training in the company. We strongly believe that offshore development in Italy needs well prepared and enthusiastic young people: this is a unique opportunity to meet and train them," commented Ksenia Balanda, General Manager Nadara-BlueFloat Energy JV in Italy.

A great first day at the Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK Onshore Wind Conference 2024 yesterday. After an interesting series of talks and presentations, the evening drinks reception at our stand where our CCO, Joanna Ellis, and Scottish Renewables’ Director of Onshore, Morag Watson, gave the welcoming speeches, was the perfect opportunity to come together for networking and to unwind with friends and colleagues from across the industry. And today has carried on where yesterday left off, with Nadara’s Will Maidment and Emmanuel A. hosting and presenting respectively at the morning sessions. Don’t forget, you can still meet our team at stand E4, so stop by and let’s connect! #ONSHOREWIND24

Joanna Ellis, Nadara's CCO, will deliver the welcome speech at the drinks reception at 4:30pm on the opening day. The following morning, Will Maidment, our Regulatory Engagement Manager, and a member of RenewableUK Shadow Board, will help chair an Onshore Wind Lesson, and Emmanuel A., Wind Specialist Project Engineer, will participate in a special session designed to inspire school students about the renewable energy sector. We’ll also have colleagues from Business Development, Engineering, Energy Trading, and other departments attending the event - be sure to visit us at Stand E4 and connect with our team. #ONSHOREWIND24
The UK has reached 30GW of combined offshore and onshore wind development! That’s over 25% of the UK’s electricity needs and enough power for: 🏠 Over 26 million homes each year 🚘 1.4 million fully charged electric vehicles ⚽ 593 FA Cup finals! This is a significant milestone, and one which Nadara is proud to have played a part in with our 45 operational onshore wind plants in the UK and, as we continue to build out our pipeline in the UK and beyond, we will contribute to more power and efficiency for consumers and the broader economy. Delivering 30GW of onshore wind by the end of the decade would boost the economy by £45 billion, creating 27,000 jobs. We are a proud member of RenewableUK, and we will continue to contribute to the UK’s decarbonisation. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/dU5BvpEN #OnshoreWind #WindEnergy #RenewableEnergy

Living Energy is a guiding force. It isn’t only about the power we produce, it’s our approach, our spirit and our ethos. It’s bringing energy to life. Acting now. Thinking for lifetimes. Because we have the power to go further. We go beyond energy, helping communities build, while we build too. Energising future generations. We’re living energy every day. *** We were delighted to sponsor the elite women’s Kreiz Breizh race on 30 July in Brittany, France. This was the 6th edition of the race which sees the best competitors in the world cross the Calanhel municipality where we have a wind farm. Sharing value with the local communities who host our renewable energy assets is at the core of what we do and it was a pleasure to follow the race across the beautiful Brittany countryside. Many thanks to the race organisers and the Mayor of Calanhel. *Calanhel Wind Farm (last photo) produces 19 000MWh/year, enough to power 4,500 households.
