Naturally Tribal Skincare Limited is the proud name of our company. It is a UK registered name we are extremely proud of. Over the years we have come to realise that the word ‘Tribal’ has underlying connotations which can separate rather than promote inclusivity. We spent the last five years building and bringing tribes together to ensure inclusivity and this journey led us to the word TIWA, which in one of the main tribes in Nigeria (Yoruba) means ‘One who owns the crown or One who wears the crown or Our Own'. Effective as of 1st October 2023, our brand will be known as NATURALLY TIWA SKINCARE. Naturally TIWA puts the crown on our brand, on our customers, our stockists, and our partners! The building blocks of our brand combine ancient remedies and ethically sourced ingredients to pay homage to Africa delivering ancestral beauty designed for the modern-day family. TIWA in one word, tells our story! From our Transparency and Traceability to our Innovative products designed for the Whole body whilst remaining Authentic to our core values. TIWA is Powerful, TIWA is belonging, TIWA is ownership! Hence this is a natural transition for us, staying true to being British and paying homage to our brand’s African heritage with one word.
