Really pleased to share a stunning new scheme we have recently submitted for planning in Warwickshire. The proposed development will replace a disused guest house with nine modern residential semi-detached houses. The concept is a double façade design, with the approach of framing the back canal view. A number of elevation material options were tested, in order to refine the correct balance of natural and vernacular materials, to settle the building into its site and the wider context. High quality materials such as zinc metal framing and a zinc metal modern gable roof combined with contemporary design features such as soldier course brickwork and a protruding brickwork facade, beautifully reference modern dwelling design in the vicinity. #architecture #residentialarchitects #moderndesign #multiplehomes #modernhouses #contemporaryarchitecture #newhomes

We are delighted to have obtained planning permission for this stylish student accommodation scheme. In this stunning new design to convert and extend existing redundant offices to create 125 luxury student units, the new facades amalgamate new and traditional materials to represent the character of the town centre whilst drawing inspiration from the contemporary aesthetic of today. Meet our incredibly talented and creative Associates Amy and Maria. They spearhead our skilled NC Architecture team with enthusiasm and experience. Amy joined the practice in 2023 after 10 years’ experience working predominantly in the luxury residential sector as well as experience in education, commercial and healthcare. Amy’s passion is creating beautifully crafted bespoke dwellings for clients, overseeing the project from the drawing board through to completion. Maria brings over 15 years of experience directing all her passion into designing and delivering meaningful buildings with a pragmatic approach. She enjoys the challenges of each individual site, balancing stakeholders’ expectations and design outcomes. She particularly loves retrofitting and giving life to old buildings while utilising sustainable approaches to reduce the carbon footprint. We were excited to attend the ground breaking for Crewe Youth Club and South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club this week. We are proud to have achieved planning permission for this fantastic project. The design includes a total of 658 sqm of floorspace with a mezzanine towards the front entrance. The scheme uses a combination of traditional and contemporary materials, creating a modern interpretation of an agricultural barn.
