We are delighted to announce that we have opened another Neo Environmental office in the City of Bristol increasing our number of offices to 6! And what would be a new office without some new staff? So on that front, Russell Buckley has joined Neo Environmental as a Technical Director (Consenting and EIA) and will be heading up the office. Russell will be supported by Jack Ellis as a Principal Planner. Russell is a chartered environmentalist, who brings circa 20 years of industry experience to the team, having worked for a number of large and small multi-disciplinary consultancies. He has worked on various large energy projects, including DCOs for large scale solar projects and grid infrastructure. Jack has over 7 years of consultancy experience as a Principal Planner. He has a wealth of experience in the renewable and low carbon energy sector having worked on numerous large scale solar and energy storage projects including DCO and Section 36 applications for large scale solar and storage projects. Jack arrives having previously worked for two other large multi-disciplinary consultancies and also brings with him valuable experience in the commercial, residential and telecommunications sectors. It is great to see the volunteering day we have introduced for staff at Neo being used for some amazing causes. One of our GIS & CAD technicians Scott Griffin spent his day volunteering with his local Scout Group where they had their Investing Scouts graduation, campfire, dinner, scarecrow making and also managed to fit in the France v Belgium match. They got some great weather and by the looks of the photos everyone had a brilliant day! #volunteering #scouts

Neo Environmental are delighted to welcome Conor Cochrane as an Associate Planner to our ever-expanding team! Conor brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sector, as well as having worked on all stages of projects (initial feasibility through to appeals) across Ireland and the UK. Conor has really hit the ground running and is attending a public exhibition for a solar farm in Wales today and tomorrow! 

Neo Environmental have an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Principal Hydrologist to join the team. This role can be based out of our Warrington, Glasgow, Ballymena or Bristol office.   The successful candidate will work on projects including residential schemes, infrastructure and renewable energy projects.   The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams. Paul Neary and Michael Doran from Neo Environmental attended and presented at the Origin Enterprises Plc, Amenity, Environment and Ecology Synergies event, held at Agrii's Throws Farm Technology & Research Centre in Dunmow. We had some really interesting discussions with people from the various other group companies including Keystone Environmental Ltd., Origin Amenity Solutions, Green-tech, Groundtrax Systems Ltd, Origin Suregreen Ltd, Agrigem Ltd and British Hardwood Tree Nursery Limited. Although Neo Environmental collaborate with a number of these companies at present, we identified further potential synergies. It was also great to hear from CEO Sean Coyle and CFO TJ Kelly.

We are delighted to see the Flatterton 49.99MW Battery storage project consented by Inverclyde Council. We completed the Landscape, Ecology, Noise, Transport, Flood Risk and Drainage assessments for this project on behalf of Sustainability Unlimited LLP. Well done to the team for their hard work on this project!
