I’m proud of the #globalmarketing and #sustainability team behind today's release of our 2023 #sustainabilityreport, which provides a clear picture of how Berry Global, Inc. is creating positive, lasting change – made possible by the hard work and dedication of our valued customers, partners, and each and every #OneBerry team member. Progress demonstrates commitment beyond public goals to #sustainableinnovation, customer focus, continuous improvement, and cultivating a culture that thrives internally and in the community. Throughout 2023, our #BMoreTogether initiative reinforced the power of personal passions driving social and environmental progress, including circular collaborations with NEUE Water to develop an award-winning, 100% recycled water bottle; Deaconess Health System to recycle pre-surgery packaging and unused fabrics; Guidewheel to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions; and ACCIONA Energía to power all four of our facilities in Mexico with wind and solar energy. We also highlighted our partnership with organizations like Della Lamb Community Services and Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas to help refugees restart their lives through an inclusive, immersive hiring program. Who's the creative behind our bottle designs? Introducing Lucas Wotawa, the Industrial Designer responsible for creating the award winning NEUE bottle. Based in Auckland, New Zealand his studio is driven by restraint and refinement to find solutions that acknowledge a typology whilst finding a unique and contemporary identity. "For the NEUE bottle we set out with the intention of doing something unique. I pushed to create moments of delight through function and aesthetic, ensuring it would be significantly different from other products. The bottle form combined with the inward facing label results in magnification through the water making this impossible to walk past. The uncommonly thin recycled PET bottle meets the latent needs of a range of people allowing it to be stored in tighter areas such as, a small handbag, in the rear pocket of your pants or into the seatback storage on a train or plane" Check our more of his work at www.lucaswotawa.com #NEUEwater #AwardWinning #Design
