As a woodland manager understanding threats to our tree inventory is vital. Ips could threaten the UK timber industry in ways still being understood, none of which would be positive. Max Blake et al provide valuable insight into how changing conditions will affect this new pest’s mobility and the condition of spruce across the UK as a result.
