  • Thank you to the Association for Project Safety for inviting us to speak at their Mental Health in the Construction Industry event at the Welsh National Assembly- The Senedd this week, alongside our Ambassador, Dylan Skelhorn (Safety Up and Ladder Locker) . Charity Manager Hannah Williams discussed how workplace accidents can affect mental health—not only for the individual involved but also for their colleagues, witnesses to the incident, and friends and family. Dylan Skelhorn also shared the success of the charity's mentoring programme, which has helped individuals open up about their mental health following a fall from height. If you or someone you know has experienced a fall from height, please reach out to see how the No Falls Foundation can support you." #WorkAtHeight #WorkingAtHeight #HealthAndSafety #MentalHealth #Construction

We need your help. If you've been following our 'Step Up to Safe Ladders' campaign (https://lnkd.in/eDsS3kK2) you'll know how passionate we are about preventing the sale of unsafe, non-compliant ladders to UK consumers - especially those bought via online platforms. We have been approached with a great opportunity to get this message out via a flagship daytime television show, BUT... they need to speak directly to people who have sadly had an accident involving a fall from an unsafe telescopic ladder they bought online, and who are willing to share their story publicly. We fully appreciate this can be a sensitive topic and not everyone is willing to share their story. However, if you or someone you know, has had an accident involving an unsafe telescopic ladder bought online and is willing to talk about it, it would enable us to raise vital awareness and keep other people safer at height. You can get in touch by emailing: marketing@ladderassociation.org.uk or by sending us a message via LinkedIn. Thank you.
