Living and working in harmony with nature. We are a partnership that runs the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
About us
From the highlands of Dartmoor and Exmoor, down the river valleys to the sea and beyond Lundy, the North Devon Biosphere is one of 738 Reserves in 134 countries designated by UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme and was the first of 7 to be designated in the UK. The designation secures a better future by linking people and nature today.

✨ Celebrating English Tourism Week 2025 ✨ English Tourism Week gave Sarah Jordan, our Nature Tourism Officer, the perfect chance to catch up with Kelly Brend from Brend Collection. With their combined knowledge, Sarah and Kelly discussed ideas on how to grow business tourism across our Biosphere, while showcasing the incredible environment that makes our region so special. The meeting also allowed Sarah to introduce Kelly to our new image bank, which lets tourism businesses download high-quality photographs for use on their websites and within their marketing materials - free of charge and without needing to assign a copyright. Kelly highlighted how much this resource is needed and expressed her delight that tourism businesses within our area now have this readily available to access, whenever they need it. Tourism and hospitality businesses can sign up for our nature tourism mailing list, to stay updated on news and events, and to gain access to our FREE Nature Tourism Business Resources, including the new image bank, at https://lnkd.in/e5RumvAT 📸 Scroll through to see a very small sample of some of the images in our new collection, featuring nature, activities, people, and places within North Devon and Torridge. #EnglishTourismWeek25 #NatureTourism #BusinessTourism #MICE Torridge District Council North Devon Council
