World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on 10 October. This year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is workplace mental health. The theme highlights the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities. Mental health risks effect overall quality of life and consequently participation or productivity at work. People matter

People with ADHD come across daily, people with - A complete lack of understanding. A complete lack of empathy. A complete lack of knowledge on ADHD. If diagnosed as an adult they’re told to grow up, to stop making excuses and to just get on with it. People don’t understand how crippling it can be and how it impacts every day life. It’s ADHD Awareness Month in October and ahead of mental health awareness day we thought the perfect time to post as this year it’s focus is the workplace. NPORS hire who they believe to be the best at what they do, some of which are neuro diverse and have ADHD. We strive to understand and support, what they describe as their superpower.
