𝑾𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 this morning to be hosting the opening of the Newcastle Business Festival, an event designed to support and inspire businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals looking to start new ventures in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The festival, with workshops throughout the week is centred on fostering innovation and enhancing working relationships within Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. This mornings launch, hosted by the fantastic Hannah Ault of Valentine Clays Ltd, with an opening address from Adam Jogee MP looked at how Newcastle-under-Lyme is regenerating, looking to transform the local business landscape. Those in attendance were able to listen to the inspiring journey of guest speaker, Chris Daniels of CyberKiln, who talked about his early days as a startup to the work his local company does and how he personally works to help others kick start new ventures. Alongside Chris was keynote speaker, Keith Bremer Jones of Pottery Thrown Down fame, who delivered an inspiring address about his career, his advice to those looking to pursue their own ventures and warmly answered questions from delegates in attendance.
