NSI Energy has partnered with finance companies to offer businesses access to innovative financing models for solar systems and other energy projects. We recognise that investing in renewable energy technologies often requires substantial upfront capital, which is why our preferred finance partners are able to provide funding alternatives where capital for the project may not necessarily be available or could be utilised better elsewhere within the business. Asset Finance With solar asset finance your business can benefit from solar power without paying the upfront costs. Paying regular instalments suits some businesses more than making a capital outlay. The savings generally outweigh the repayments, meaning that a cash positive business case can be achieved. Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) A solar PPA, as the name suggests, is an agreement to purchase power. Not unlike your current energy bill, you will commit to buying electricity (at a lower cost). However, under a PPA this is combined with a lease to allow a third party to install a solar array on your property to generate the renewable electricity. #SolarFinance #nsienergy

What Are The Benefits? 1. Cut your business’s CO2 emissions 2. Reduce energy bills 3. Emergency back-up capabilities 4. Enjoy cheaper energy day and night 5. Maximise your investment on solar panels Typically, most battery energy storage systems can be integrated with commercial solar panels to maximise the energy savings they generate, whilst also taking advantage of additional financial and environmental benefits. Non-Compliance Under CDM The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) are serious business. In the UK alone, thousands of construction projects fall under its scope every year, and require the client to appoint a Principal Contractor on any project where more than one contractor is involved (virtually all of them). If you as the client don’t appoint a Principal Contractor then you will automatically take on the role and the responsibilities. Failure to comply can result in hefty fines, project delays, jail terms and even worse, avoidable injuries. CDM regulations apply to every construction project, with no exceptions. Even activities like maintenance must comply with CDM 2015, regardless of the project’s duration. There are no shortcuts. Understanding and adhering to CDM 2015 is essential for legally and safely completing your construction project. Choosing NSI Projects as your Principal Contractor ensures expert compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, safeguarding your project from risks and promoting a safe, efficient, and successful construction experience. #CDM2015 #safeguarding #nsiprojects

Principal Contractor - Roles And Responsibilities In the complex world of construction, understanding the roles and responsibilities of various parties is crucial for the successful execution of a project. Among these roles, the Principal Contractor holds a pivotal position. The Principal Contractor assumes primary responsibility for overseeing the construction phase of projects involving multiple contractors. Appointed by the client, there should be only one principal contractor at any given time for a project. In this context, “project” encompasses various types of construction, building, infrastructure repair, or maintenance work, regardless of whether it occurs on a permanent or temporary site. The principal contractor must possess the necessary competence, skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the specific work and the health and safety risks associated with it. This ensures effective management and coordination throughout the construction phase, promoting safety and compliance with regulations. Choosing the right Principal Contractor is essential for the success and safety of your construction project. At NSI Projects, we have the expertise and dedication to fulfil this critical role, ensuring your project is executed smoothly and safely. #PrincipalContractor #ConstructionSafety #ProjectManagement #NSIProjects #HealthAndSafety

Understanding Your Project Requirements It’s a common misunderstanding that CDM 2015 only applies to larger projects. That’s not the case. The Act covers every time labour builds, modifies or in many situations, maintains something. The regulations don’t differentiate risk by what is being built, but by the size and scope of the project, regardless of whether you are building a bridge, a warehouse, fitting out a warehouse. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, commonly referred to as the CDM Regulations 2015, are a key piece of legislation in the UK that governs the management of health, safety, and welfare in construction projects. Among the critical components of these regulations is the role of the Principal Contractor. The CDM Regulations 2015 were implemented to improve safety standards and clarify the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in construction projects. These regulations apply to all construction work, from major building projects to smaller-scale renovations, and require certain duties to be fulfilled by duty holders, which include clients, designers, and contractors. At NSI Projects, we help you navigate these requirements, ensuring compliance and promoting safety across all aspects of your project. #CDM2015 #ConstructionSafety #PrincipalContractor #NSIProjects
