  • The one where we hosted our first masterclass 🥹🎤 Yesterday we headed to the most perfect venue to host our very first Muse Masterclass with our founder Aimee Smale!   • Did someone say Odd Muse X Heaven Mayhem pop-up at NYFW?!! This weekend we hosted our very first collab pop up with Heaven Mayhem at our darling store in Soho, NYC. We invited over 60 of our favourite creators in NYC to visit our store for an evening full of styling, celebrating and of course drinks from our favourites Avaline Wine! 🍸 Our founder Aimee Smale was joined by the wonderful Pia Mance to host the evening, followed up by a personal shopping experience with 20 lucky muses the following morning... what a weekend!!     "My multi million-pound business started with some posts on TikTok" In those seemingly endless months of national lockdowns during Covid, many people took up new hobbies to fill the time. Some learnt to bake banana bread, while others downloaded the Couch to 5k app. But for Aimee Smale, then in her early twenties, the pandemic presented an opportunity to turn her passion into a business. Less than five years later, she is running a multimillion-pound fashion brand: Odd Muse. Today, she has two permanent stores — one in London’s Soho, and another in the heart of New York City — and employs a team of 56. In 2024, Odd Muse had sales of £22.5m and pre-tax profits of £3m. Odd Muse’s TikTok account has accrued 16 million likes and 490,000 followers, as well as a further 900,000 followers on Instagram. 🗣️ “When I started, I had no marketing budget,” said Smale. "I just thought, ‘I’m going to talk to all of these people online, and I’m going to tell them that I’m quitting my job to start a brand — and then I’m going to back it up with an amazing product.’ It worked.” 🔗 Read the full interview: https://lnkd.in/erAM2GDr
