  • 🚶♂️✨ Last week, some of our team members had the opportunity to visit some furniture showrooms last week and came out feeling very inspired! Nothing beats immersing yourself in furniture pieces to get a true experience of the quality, look and feel of an item like testing it for yourself, whilst having the confidence that the products that we put forward are high quality.   • Working on our recent project for Northern Trust Company Ltd, we ensured multiple goals were met 🎯 : 🖌️Strategic Space Planning and Design Our team collaborated closely with Northern Trust to understand their brand identity and operational needs, translating these into a functional and visually appealing design. The office layout was restructured to improve workflow and collaboration while creating an open, inviting environment. Zones were created for focused work, collaborative meetings, and quiet reflection, ensuring flexibility in how the space can be used day-to-day. 🪡 Integration of High-End Finishes and Furnishings Recognizing the role of quality finishes in establishing a premium brand image, we selected high-quality materials and furnishings that convey a sense of professionalism and stability. The design incorporated clean lines, refined textures, and neutral colour palettes, echoing Northern Trust’s commitment to quality in property development and investment. 🖱️ Smart Technology Implementation To equip Northern Trust with the tools to work seamlessly, we installed smart technology solutions, including wireless presentation systems, interactive displays, and secure, high-speed connectivity. These upgrades ensure that teams can collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues, both on-site and remotely, reflecting a modern approach to property industry operations. 🧘 Employee-Centric Amenities and Biophilic Design Understanding the importance of employee satisfaction, the refurbishment included enhanced lighting, ergonomic workstations, and relaxation zones. We also incorporated biophilic elements, such as greenery and natural finishes, to foster a calm and stimulating environment, promoting well-being and a deeper connection to Northern Trust’s land-focused business. 🌿 Sustainability Considerations In line with Northern Trust’s responsible approach to land and development, we prioritized sustainability by choosing energy-efficient lighting, recycled materials, and eco-friendly carpeting. This aligns with the company’s core values and demonstrates their commitment to environmental stewardship.   • INTRODUCING our NEW case study for a confidential client in the automotive sector⚙️ The objective of the project was to create a functional and visually appealing workspace for the Client that aligned with their established design standards and brand identity. The design needed to integrate and retain any relevant elements from the landlord's CAT A refurbishment that were fit for purpose, ensuring a sustainable and cost-effective approach. Additionally, the workspace needed to offer a well-balanced selection of furniture, with both gold and silver-tier options proposed to cater to varying requirements and preferences while maintaining overall quality and cohesion. The final design had to deliver a professional, efficient, and inspiring environment tailored to the Clients' operational needs. The completed workspace for the client is a dynamic, flexible, and modern environment designed to enhance productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being.   • What factors affect office fit-out costs? Ultimately, office fit-out costs are heavily influenced by the specification required by the company moving into the new space. Some companies seek high spec finishes, bespoke joinery, fixtures and furniture, whereas others many only need the basic spec.
