Our factory buzzes with activity, but it’s not the usual hum of power supply assembly and testing. Instead, we have carpet fitters, decorators, alarm contractors, blind fitters, and network engineers all diligently adding the finishing touches to our brand-new facility. Once we’ve settled in, we’ll happily share photos and videos. This expansion grants us an impressive 300% boost in production capacity, allowing us to comfortably accommodate four times as many engineers. 🏭🔧📸 It’s exciting to think about the growth and possibilities that come with a larger space, isn’t it? It's time for our 3-year BSI ISO 9001:2015 re-certification. We're extremely pleased to announce that we secured our re-cert with 0 non-conformances! This is a huge testament to the team and the improvement projects implemented across the past 12 months. Our auditor commented on the implementation and integration of our new ERP System, RamBase, as "the best manufacturing management system he's ever seen". It's great to get the business decisions we're making reinforced by an independent. This week we had a year 11 onsite from the local school, for work experience. Engineering devised a schedule to get him designing a simple schematic for a power amplifier, laying out the PCB, building a unit and running through full product testing. It wasn't just a great experience for Reuben, but I think everyone enjoyed having a young, inquisitive mind on site. Nurturing the STEM interest of the next generation is critical to developing our future employees, and we look forward to inviting more students on site. #futuregeneration #STEMdevelopment
