  • It's the second of four career development training sessions that On The Level is running for #lgbtq+ staff at The University of Manchester. Today’s session is about Re-powering your personal & professional narrative from a queer perspective and was delivered by the wonderful Andrew Seedall. We were really pleased and humbled this morning to hear attendees talking about the impact of this programme and how it's helped them already to adjust elements of their professional lives to be more authentic, self confident and positive. We delivered a session on Overcoming barriers to career development a few weeks ago. Future sessions will cover: - Becoming a key LGBTQ+ person of influence. - Elevating your queer voice. Again, huge thanks to Banji Adewumi for her commitment to EDI and her leadership in bringing this unique programme to the University.

It was great to take the second course in On The Level’s programme for LGBTQ+ colleagues to The University of Manchester last week. And I was back in the building I first studied when I arrived in Manchester in 1999! This course is about Repowering your personal and professional narrative, and is delivered by Andrew Seedall The other courses in the series are: - Overcoming barriers to LGBTQ+ career development - Becoming an LGBTQ+ person of influence - Elevating your queer voice. It’s a brilliant programme; thought provoking and empowering. You can see testimonials from previous years here - https://lnkd.in/eJKnurDk If your business is looking to support its LGBTQ+ colleagues, give me a shout 😀 Matt Haworth Anna Marsden Sam Malone Paul Marks-Jones

Exciting times at On The Level as we deliver Session 3 of our mentoring programme with senior leaders at The Lowry. We’ve designed this programme to empower and equip leaders with the confidence and skills to mentor colleagues across the organisation, helping them unlock their full potential. Our tailored programme consists of four impactful sessions: 1) An introduction to mentoring – setting the stage for success 2) Wrapping up positively – ensuring a meaningful experience 3) Building for success – today’s focus, helping leaders sustain progress 4) Evaluating the programme – measuring impact and growth It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with the brilliant Ed Moss, whose passion and expertise shine through every session. Looking forward to seeing how these leaders take our tools and ideas to support their mentees. #Mentoring #LeadershipDevelopment

It's May, which mean that Pride Month is next month! What is your business doing to support its LGBTQ+ colleagues, and help break down their barriers to career development? On The Level has a brilliant programme of 4 courses: - Overcoming barriers to carrer development from an LGBTQ+ perspective - Repowering your professional narrative - Becoming a LGBTQ+ person of influence - Elevating your queer voice Feedback from previous participants has been INCREDIBLE, with a Net promoter Score of 100, and comments from participants like: This is officially the Best Course I’ve Done. Challenging, but utterly inspiring and very practical. This course has had an outstanding impact on my life personally and professionally. This course delved much deeper emotionally than I anticipated, and it proved to be necessary. It was the most profound and personal course I have ever taken, and the consensus among the group was that we truly needed it…The impact of this course extends far beyond my professional life; the lessons learned and personal growth will resonate across all aspects of my life, not just in the workplace. Please contact me to bring this fab programme to your business. Sam Malone Matt Haworth Anna Marsden Andrew Seedall Banji Adewumi Pride in Leadership

I can’t believe it’s been 2 and a half years since I took the plunge and set up my own business, On The Level. Since then, I’ve been delighted to be able to work with some wonderful clients, including Greater Manchester Chamber, UK, 10GM, The University of Manchester, Groundswell Innovation, One+All, A Certified B Corporation George House Trust, Phoenix Digital, The Growth Company, THE BLACK UNITED REPRESENTATION NETWORK, She Leads For Legacy. In collaboration with truly brilliant people, I’ve been able to deliver: - quality training focused on supporting under-represented groups (LGBT, ethnic minority communities, women in leadership, and more) - training supporting leaders and future leaders to be the best they can be - research and recommendations on business design, membership proposition, and impact measurement - leadership community building, across sectors - 121 and focus group research on diversity and inclusion, skills and service delivery - event design, hosting and public speaking - project and programme design and management. Perhaps I should focus on one area (I know it’d make it all much easier to talk about). But then I wouldn’t get to do ALL of the things I love doing. While celebrating our achievements, I'm also looking ahead with enthusiasm, and have some time right now to take on a new project. So if you're seeking to drive positive change in your organisation, please give me a shout. https://lnkd.in/eiw7Q_JP
