Meet our future lawyers 👨🎓 Last week, our director had an inspiring session with our new cohort of trainee lawyers - a great opportunity to connect and get to know each other. They really are the best of the best and we're thrilled to have such an exceptional group of emerging legal talent working with us. At One Legal, developing and nurturing our team is a guiding principle. We have developed career grades and training plans to support the next generation of local government lawyers. We were able to promote three team members into the trainee lawyer roles internally and bring in two additional team members. This allows us to build our cross team working capability and resilience. It's been an exceptionally busy week here at One Legal. The extended management team had their first full day of training for ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management provided by South West Councils. We also took part in Elections for our 4 Partner Councils. The sheer organisation and dedication of everyone involved was amazing and we are proud that we were able to support. Yesterday we had the pleasure of supporting The Brightwell by taking part in a 3k run. Lots of families in attendance and such wonderful organisers. Yesterday we held our annual away day. It was a fantastic day of collaboration and fun. We learnt more about our colleagues as individuals by the paper plane activity and we talked about our achievements over the last year. Lastly, we did an exercise on how we live and breathe our Vision and Values. We can't wait to see what the year ahead holds for us! A big thank you to Graham Tate for facilitating the day it was an invaluable session.
