Leeds is a vibrant city made all the better for our diverse communities who call it home. Leeds Community Foundation is privileged be able to fund brilliant work that happens in every corner of our city. Bringing people together, providing opportunities, and celebrating what makes each of us uniquely us, as well as all that we have in common. It’s the music sessions that bring together people from all walks of life to create sounds inspired by different cultures. It’s the lunch clubs that offer community, fun and friendship to older people when they might feel lonely. It’s the storytelling projects that allow people’s voices to be heard, shared, and understood by others. It’s the youth centres that inspire young people, giving them opportunities to learn, develop and reach their aspirations. It’s the food pantries that offer urgent support and a friendly face when people find themselves struggling. There’s goodness everywhere you turn in Leeds. Communities come together to support and celebrate each other every day, and we’re proud to play our part in that.
