🚀 Neurodiversity Awareness Week: The Impact of the ORCHA & NHS Dorset Partnership 🌐 Did you know that national statistics suggest around 10% of the population is neurodivergent? This includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. If we apply this national estimate to Dorset’s population of 800,000 residents, we could be looking at approximately 80,000 individuals who are neurodivergent. Why is this important? 🤔 The collaboration between ORCHA and NHS Dorset has harnessed the power of technology to create practical, user-friendly tools that improve the daily lives of neurodiverse individuals. By focusing on usability and long-term engagement, these digital resources empower individuals to live more independently, with greater autonomy and inclusion in society.
