    We were in Geneva this week at the Luxury Innovation Summit & Awards which focused on digital certificates, traceability, and Digital Product Passports (DPPs) in the fashion industry. Leading suppliers like Certilogo S.p.A. and Tracr presented on the importance of authenticity and provenance tracking, while brands like GIVENCHY emphasised the need to confirm product traceability to consumers. eBay spoke about how web3 will transform luxury re-commerce. 🔗 A recurring challenge discussed was the reliance on physical connectors (NFC chips, RFID tags), which disrupt production and logistics, adding costs and complications. 🔬 Vision AI, as championed by The ORDRE Group product Authentique, offers a solution by creating a "digital fingerprint" for each product, connecting physical items to their digital identities without the need for physical connectors. Authentique's Vision AI ensures identification and traceability without tampering risks or additional manufacturing steps. 🤝 Authentique is building an ecosystem of collaborations using APIs to integrate with both DDP, traceability and digital certificate suppliers across the luxury industry, building a seamless ecosystem to authenticate products at every stage.     C’est fini, je raccroche 📸 Après plusieurs années, il était temps pour moi de mettre un terme à ma carrière de photographe car … et oui, tous les packshots de l’e-shop Septième Largeur étaient alors des Preiss 😂 Beaucoup d'entre nous l’ont connu, dans les débuts du lancement d’une marque, on cherche à minimiser les coûts, quitte à faire mille et un métiers, de photographe à conseiller de vente, patineur coloriste sur cuir en passant par graphiste ! La satisfaction de voir sa Maison grandir n’en est après que meilleure, et surtout avec le résultat plus que réussi de notre shooting chez The ORDRE Group Trois jours intensifs de shooting, mais un investissement qui donne déjà des résultats !     Authentique by The Ordre Group is proud to be selected as one of the four key technologies to demonstrate today at the Bain & Company France event in Paris. It happened simultaneously as Bain & Company and the Comité Colbert shared their Annual report, dedicated to AI in the luxury industry and technology sector, entitled “Artificial Intelligence: the discreet revolution”. The study scored 20 use cases of analytical and generative artificial intelligence to understand the stages of adoption, assess possible barriers and analyse the results expected by the houses. The outcome? The revolution is indeed underway, yet it is discreet so as not to compromise the promises of exclusivity, intimacy, creativity and the know-how that define luxury.     Shout out to The Real Real who recently unveiled their annual resale report, an analysis on what is redefining today’s luxury resale market. The biggest take-away is that the rise of superfakes is quite concerning; “While the most commonly counterfeited bags are still the usual suspects—Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci—we’ve seen a major uptick this year in Celine and The Row knockoffs following 2023’s quiet luxury boom. These “superfakes” are often jarringly similar to the real thing, with an attention to detail authenticators have seldom seen before. But, as always, there are tells. (So far this year, The RealReal has intercepted over 7,000 counterfeit bags during the authentication process” - The Real Real. This report highlights an important point: a significant number of fake goods are being traded and consumers would feel more confident buying or re-selling if they were irrefutably authenticated. This would significantly boost the market by ensuring quality and authenticity, which is crucial for both sellers and buyers. Luxury and fashion brands need to upgrade their authentication processes to stay competitive.
