Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ed Daniels, our new Chief Executive Officer at Venterra Group to Osbit. Ed joined us for the day at our UK headquarters here in Northumberland to catch up with some of the great people we have here. Speaking with award-winning Osbit Engineer David MacGregor they discussed how David led a team in the design, build, and delivery of an innovative project aimed at tackling the challenges arising in offshore wind. Coming from an engineering background, Ed also took a keen interest in the details of Matt Heap current project, where Matt explained how Osbit’s understanding of offshore operations can be adapted to overcome the intricate challenges present in such a varied environment. Ed is continuing his tour of all the Venterra Group companies in the coming weeks, on his experience so far, he comments, “It has been so good to meet so many great people across the Venterra Group, all bringing their skills and experience to deliver excellent results for our customers—and doing so safely. Thank you all.” Next time, we look forward to showing Ed around our Port of Blyth facility, showcasing work of our fantastic team.

It's amazing to share that our recently delivered cable repair carousel and loading tower system for N-Sea Group is now operational, successfully carrying out its first cable repair projects in the North Sea!   This is the first project Osbit delivered from Rotterdam, where our Dutch office is based. It is an important milestone for us, and one made possible with support from the local Dutch supply chain.   We are proud to have delivered this tailored system in such a short time (six months, to be exact!), and Osbit Netherlands continues to expand significantly.   To get in touch with our Osbit Netherlands team directly, email teamNL@osbit.com   #TeamNL #Osbit #OffshoreWind #RenewableEnergy
