How has it already been a week since Service!? Already plotting and getting excited about round 2... 🤸♂️ Will you be coming!?? #hospitalityunited

Well, what a day!? 😅 Service was so FUNNN! Thank you SO much to everyone who came along to BrewDog Waterloo yesterday for our first-ever Service event hosted with Tech On Toast. Over 1000 people registered after we launched the event campaign just 6 short weeks ago 😱 and there are so many people to thank for turning this event around in such record time... From the speakers with their incredible insight, opinions and energy, to those who ran the masterclasses throughout the day and gave attendees a more detailed look at their topic of expertise, it was epic. 💥 Big shout out to the fabulous BrewDog team for doing so much heavy lifting, lanyard giving and food serving whilst smiling through it all - particular shout out to Monica Osborn and Emily Gunn our right-hand women - and a huge thanks as always to James Brown (who also was one of the legends on the panel!! 🙌 ) A BIIIIG 'big-up' to our brilliant and legendary panel guests, Laurence Stevenson, Adena Cahill, Trudi Parr Assoc CIPD, Philip Eeles, Karen Bosher, Juliette Keyte, Laura I., Ruth Carpenter, Shereen Ritchie, Sunaina Sethi, 🤹 Travis Fish, Nick Jones, Jonathan Reed, Chantal Wilson, Sarah S. - when we approached you to come on our stage in the biggest pub in the UK, you could very easily have said no, so thank you for trusting us and being so fantastic!! To our exhibitors (who all gave a lot of energy to the Boomerang videos 😂 thanks for that) it was such a pleasure to have you all with us for our first Service event. Yesterday was the type of day that we live for at Otolo 🤸 Confidence Workshops are one of the one-day workshops that we offer at Otolo to support the hospitality industry. One of our attendees yesterday said "It was really eye-opening and absolutely brilliant. Not to sound over the top but I felt like a lightbulb went off in the workshop 💡" 10 inspiring hospitality professionals from Wales, Somerset, Leicester and London came along and brought such fantastic energy to the room. It's such a privilege to be able to hear the stories and challenges of each person who attends our workshops and work with them to identify ways in which they can achieve their goals around confidence both personally and professionally. We started the week in the best way possible on Monday as we launched our mentoring programme with the fantastic group of hospitality masters students at Missenden Abbey International Hotel and Hospitality School 🎓 All of the students arrived in the UK last week and are studying for their master's over the next 12 months. It was genuinely the most inspiring day to understand the goals of each of the students and how our mentors can best support them on their journey to a career in hospitality. A huge thanks to Lisa Wyld and Alexandra Constantinescu for welcoming us into your training and investing in promising students who want to join the world of hospitality. Your passion for learning, developing and supporting individuals is incredible and it is a real privilege to work with you ♥️ Thank you to the students for bringing such an amazing level of enthusiasm and commitment to the mentoring programme.
