Take Lois S. and Eve Thow for instance. They’ve been delivering sales skills in Shanghai for a global customer, including: - A pilot workshop with area sales managers - A follow-up ‘train the trainer’ with district sales managers - Leading to a training event for 200 sales reps Sessions have been praised for high levels of audience engagement. ↳ And, like everything we deliver, they have been purposely designed to ensure long lasting behaviour change too.

Did you make your bed this morning? 🛌 Making your bed is often your first chore after you wake up, setting you up for a productive day. Charles Duhigg, author of 'The Power of Habit', claims that making your bed is just one 'keystone' habit that lead to "a greater sense of well-being". But if you're reading this thinking, "I didn't make my bed this morning," then don't worry! There is always tomorrow. #HabitBuilding #Habits #PositiveHabits #Coaching

What is returning to work like? Whether from maternity/paternity leave, sabbatical, illness or anything else, it can feel impossible to come back to work with the same momentum as you left it. Even with support from your manager or your team, getting back into that frame of mind can be a real challenge. When our very own Lian Bemrose returned to work (and a new position) after 10 months on maternity leave – we knew the best way to get her back on her feet was Carpe Diem Coaching™️. 🗣️ "My coach was my angel at that time. I was a first-time mum, coming back to work: scared, excited, all the emotions AND I was coming back into a new job role... I didn't even know where to start." "Carpe Diem Coaching makes you realise what you could achieve when you actually write down solid goals and when you're being held accountable each day and it's empowering, in that, days where you haven't achieved that goal that you had set, it was okay to acknowledge that you didn't achieve that goal and then revisit it." Returning to work doesn't have to be a struggle, Carpe Diem Coaching™️ gives you the tools you need to create your own momentum quickly and helps you achieve new goals every single day. Smashing pumpkins. We joined other local businesses in Birmingham this week, at the Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District 'pumpkin spectacular'. The event lit up Warstone Lane Cemetery with a pumpkin display for Halloween. Not only was it a fun and unconventional way to network, it was also a chance to discover more about the history of a cemetery that dates back to 1847. That's exactly 50 years before Bram Stoker's Dracula was written... Spooky.

Raise the roof! St. Paul’s Church is the jewel of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, but the historic building faces an uncertain future. Urgent roofworks will cost thousands of pounds; money the Church simply does not have. That’s where the ‘Raise the Roof’ appeal comes in. We’re part of a movement of local businesses that are helping to secure the necessary funds for essential repairs. Having already delivered bite size training programmes in aid of the appeal, we were only too pleased to join a fundraising dinner at University College Birmingham. "The more I learn, the more I realise how little I know…The more I want to know, the more I learn" No points for guessing who said that! Developing yourself and your abilities isn't a drag race, it's not even a marathon, it's a journey to a place you've never been and maybe only heard of from a handful of people. So if you don't have a map, a compass, or even a friendly face alongside you, you might start to think getting lost means getting stuck. But every step on your journey, is another step closer to finding yourself and with the right guidance, you can get there faster and faster. Every skill you learn and goal you reach brings the next one closer. Take the first step here: https://lnkd.in/eWd9K6mc #CarpeDiemCoaching #MicroCoaching #Coaching #BusinessCoaching #CoachingCulture

What did you learn about Black history in school? Bianca Jones Assoc CIPD had to look beyond the classroom to discover inspirational stories of amazing Black people. She now uses her own experiences to inform and inspire others through race equity, allyship education and mental health first aid training. Bianca talked to Chris Cummins, Joint Managing Director for a brand new OTD podcast series in celebration of Black History Month 2024. It’s a platform for people we know, to reclaim the narrative and tell their stories. ↳ Be inspired: https://lnkd.in/emwfUG6k With thanks to all of our contributors, including Marie Loney, Marie Gardner, Ebony Bansair, Mamawa Turay, Nathan Dennis, and Richard and Denise Gooding. #BlackHistoryMonth

"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." It seems obvious, but how often are you guilty of stressing over an email that you haven't even received yet or a meeting that's still a week away. In business, we rely on teams. Everyone is playing their part to the best of their ability and getting caught up in resolving issues that aren't yours to sort out can end up costing everyone. Sometimes we have to accept that the train has left the station, and you can either stand on the platform stressing about it or you can call yourself a taxi and move on. #CarpeDiemCoaching #Quotes #Inspirational #BusinessCoaching #Sales
