The UK’s Chancellor has put innovation at the heart of her growth mission. To unlock this value, we need an ambitious vision for public investment that supports every stage of research commercialisation, from proof-of-concept to market-ready technologies. A new coalition has formed – comprised of TenU, Knowledge Exchange UK, the Russell Group of Universities, and University Alliance (UK) – representing over 120 universities as well as other technology transfer organisations. Oxford University Innovation is proud to be part of this coalition. We are working with coalition partners and a working group of experts from technology transfer organisations, businesses, and venture capital funds to develop a detailed proposal for implementing proof-of-concept (POC) funding. TenU’s Head, Ananay Aguilar, writes for Global Corporate Venturing on why this new coalition is so important ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/epf57ewR
