☀️How to prevent heatstroke☀️ With a national yellow heat warning throughout the UK, here’s some tips on how to keep yourself safe this summer. 1️⃣ Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water 2️⃣ Wear light, loose fitting clothing with adequate sun protection (such as a hat) 3️⃣ Use adequate sun protection with a high SPF 4️⃣ Avoid being in direct sunlight for extended periods Remember: Children and the elderly are particularly at risk from heatstroke. If you suspect someone has heatstroke, move them to a cool space, get them to rehydrate, and pat them with a cool, damp towel.
