March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛 Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth in the UK. However, recent data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) indicates only around 2% of reproductive-age women have a formal NHS diagnosis. Many remain undiagnosed or seek private care. This condition can significantly impact quality of life—causing chronic pain, fatigue, and fertility challenges. Yet, awareness remains limited, meaning many experience long delays before diagnosis. Knowledge is power ✨ Understanding endometriosis can make a huge difference. ➡️Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/epm4wYkg For further support, connect with these wonderful charities: • Endometriosis UK • The Endometriosis Foundation 🙌 Let's work together to increase awareness, improve care, and make a real difference for people living with endometriosis. #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth #WomensHealth #EndometriosisSupport

🦋 Today is Rare Disease Awareness Day, and we want to spotlight a special partnership with DEBRA UK. DEBRA is a charity dedicated to supporting individuals with one of the rarest and most challenging conditions known as epidermolysis bullosa (EB)—often described as "butterfly skin" due to the fragility of the skin that blisters and tears easily. DEBRA stands out as the only UK charity that not only focuses on medical research for EB but also provides vital patient support. They work closely with the NHS to offer access to specialised EB healthcare services through four NHS EB centres of excellence across the country. 💚 Interested in learning more about EB and how you can support DEBRA’s work? ➡️ Visit https://lnkd.in/ehmstzQq #RareDiseaseAwareness #SupportEB #EpidermolysisBullosa

⚠️ A recent BJGP study has spotlighted a big challenge... GP receptionists are increasingly tasked with clinical roles but lack the necessary training and support. In fact, feedback from practices in Leeds indicated that receptionists wanted more support in their roles.🙌 At Patchs, we are at the forefront of addressing this challenge with our AI-driven solutions. 🚀 How Patchs can help: Since its launch in January 2021, Patchs AI has been instrumental in reducing the workload of GP practices and enhancing patient safety. Our AI tools automate triage, workflow, and signposting, supporting reception staff in managing their expanding roles efficiently. Here’s how: ✔️ Urgency AI: Identifies urgent or emergency patient requests upon submission. ✔️ Signpost AI: Directs patients to appropriate care paths like self-care, NHS 111, or emergency services. ✔️ Topic AI: Works out the clinical topics of a patient request and can be used to send patients messages before they submit their request including questionnaire or advice templates, and Pharmacy First information. ✔️ Assign AI: Allocates requests needing clinical input to the appropriate inbox. ✔️ Face-to-Face (F2F) AI: Flags requests likely requiring in-person consultations, streamlining appointment scheduling. Find out more about the Patchs online consultation system here: ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eSUj2exK ⭐ It's time to really acknowledge the important role receptionists play in primary care and ensure they have the support they need to thrive. At Patchs, we're committed to this goal, offering tools that help make primary care safe and effective. 🏥🩷 For more details on the study, read here: https://lnkd.in/e6sZD2Se #PrimaryCare #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCare #HealthTech #PatchsAI
