Some of our printing machines have been in operation for decades. Sometimes they move around within company groups, or the staff originally involved in a project have changed jobs or even retired. The rise of tote boxes and stackable storage has been significant in the last few years. Whilst always popular in a wide range of industries (automotive, retail, manufacturing) it has really seen growth since COVID-19 in the e-commerce space. More warehouses popped up on the sides of motorways to handle the increase in online ordering. Very often, these boxes need to be marked with branding, serial numbers, customer names and location information. We had a wonderful trip recently to the south of France to see our partners DUBUIT REELTECH in Saint Flour. An epic car journey through the tunnel to meet our colleagues and deliver some brass type to a client. Made by the team at R.E. Bowers & Freeman Ltd, the type can be dropped in to the chase in whatever format you need. With two or three lines of text, the chase is then secured to the hot stamping machine and used to foil print on to products. A great trip, meeting some amazing people and we even got some snow.
