Today is World Mental Health Day with this years theme focusing on workplace mental health. In recognition of this, PJD alongside the rest of the Ropsley Group held a Safety Stand Down session across all sites and offices. This gave our teams the opportunity to share how they were feeling in a relaxed environment and learn more about spotting the signs of someone struggling with their mental health. Our industry can be extremely challenging at times, therefore it is vital that we keep working to kick out the stigma around mental health and keep encouraging open conversations about our thoughts and feelings😊 If you or anything you know is struggling please start that conversation! Introducing our 2024-25 cohort of welding, pipe fitting and plating apprentices! For the next 11 months our latest group of PJD apprentices will be learning the skills of their trade at the CATCH training facility. We are looking forward to following their journey with CATCH and witnessing their development once they join the rest of the PJD workforce in August 2025. Out of all of our achievements, this one counts the most (literally). In August 2024, we reached 1 million hours without a lost time accident (LTI) or RIDDOR reportable accident (dating back to September 2020)🏆 We wanted to extend a huge thank you to everybody in our team on sites around the country🤩 It’s incredible to think just how long 1 million hours really is… #UKEngineering #SafetyFirst
