We are thrilled to announce that, through a competitive tender process, we have secured 4 additional contracts to provide M&E Services to the stunning 245 Hammersmith Building, impressive Senator House building, exquisitely design-led 30 Golden Square, and the beautifully converted Aircraft Factory. These exciting wins further enhances and develops our 20-building portfolio and relationship with both Bellrock FM and Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM).   Our focus will be to continue to deliver a high-quality responsive service, focussed on supporting and driving our clients carbon reduction and sustainability targets, aligned to our ISO55001 delivery model, through data led and condition-based maintenance techniques.    Edward Gee, Operations Director commented “These additions to our portfolio are a testament to the teams continued hard work, dedication, and commitment to quality delivery. Contract Win! National Healthcare Contract.   Platinum Facilities are thrilled to announce the launch of our healthcare division with the award of Practice Plus Group.   Platinum have been working closely with Practice Plus Group (PPG) to design a bespoke and tailored service model, reflecting the unique needs of PPG and covering 26 locations across the UK.   Practice Plus Group is one of England’s largest independent providers of private, insured and NHS healthcare, and Platinum are proud to be supporting these 26 locations, with specialist hard FM and a 24/7/365 helpdesk service to these critical environments.   Glen Cardinal, CEO, commented; this new partnership with PPG is an exciting milestone for Platinum as we see the business move into the healthcare market and support our client on a national basis. I am extremely proud to be working with PPG and extremely proud of our people who built up the solution and instilled the confidence in PPG to select Platinum Facilities as their service partner. Well done team Platinum!   Watch this space for more healthcare growth.

Project Completed!   We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed a chiller replacement for one of our valued clients in Hammersmith.   Our Project Team ‘s rigorous and diligent planning during the tendering phase enabled a smooth mobilisation of this project, with validation works all completed prior to the ordering of the good ensuring no delays occurred and that the project was completed in the agreed timeframes. The new chiller, which due to local authority restrictions relating to adjacent transport and infrastructure, had to be meticulously dismantled and transported piece by piece to the roof via the goods lift, and then reassembled in situ, is now running like a dream!   The site and building management team were a pleasure throughout to work with, ensuring this project was handed over on time and on budget.   Fantastic work to everyone involved.   If you have a project you would like some support on, don’t hesitate to reach out on projects@pfms.co.uk. 

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day to raise awareness, continue to work towards breaking the stigma and promoting wellbeing. Good Mental Health is a priority all year round at Platinum, with over 10% of our workforce as mental health first aiders, regular training on stress awareness and mental wellbeing as well as access to our EAP and free counselling for all. Mental health matters! We all need to work together to keep building supportive and understanding workplaces where everyone feels comfortable talking about mental health. Together, we can truly make a difference and create healthier environments for all. #WorldMentalHealthDay

Meet Mitchell, one of our very talented Apprentices. Over the last 4 years Mitchell has developed a host of skills to set him up for a hugely successful career. Supported by his team on site along with our in-house Technical team, we are proud to be helping to develop Mitchell into an engineer of the future.   Mitchel is evidence of the positive impact apprentices have to our clients and on our business. 

Over the last fortnight we have had the pleasure of hosting another 2 groups of our Responsible Managers in the New Forest.   The teams spent time working together on challenges, enhancing collaboration (as well as adding in some healthy competition!), relating all activities back to the importance of building trust, developing psychological safety and driving performance.   Thank you as always to our fantastic behavioural coach, for providing the teams with meaningful and fun experiences to help embed our Responsible Business behaviours back into the business.
