Project Completed! We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed a chiller replacement for one of our valued clients in Hammersmith. Our Project Team ‘s rigorous and diligent planning during the tendering phase enabled a smooth mobilisation of this project, with validation works all completed prior to the ordering of the good ensuring no delays occurred and that the project was completed in the agreed timeframes. The new chiller, which due to local authority restrictions relating to adjacent transport and infrastructure, had to be meticulously dismantled and transported piece by piece to the roof via the goods lift, and then reassembled in situ, is now running like a dream! The site and building management team were a pleasure throughout to work with, ensuring this project was handed over on time and on budget. Fantastic work to everyone involved. Today is World Mental Health Day, a day to raise awareness, continue to work towards breaking the stigma and promoting wellbeing. Meet Mitchell, one of our very talented Apprentices. Over the last 4 years Mitchell has developed a host of skills to set him up for a hugely successful career. Supported by his team on site along with our in-house Technical team, we are proud to be helping to develop Mitchell into an engineer of the future. Mitchel is evidence of the positive impact apprentices have to our clients and on our business.
Over the last fortnight we have had the pleasure of hosting another 2 groups of our Responsible Managers in the New Forest. The teams spent time working together on challenges, enhancing collaboration (as well as adding in some healthy competition!), relating all activities back to the importance of building trust, developing psychological safety and driving performance. Thank you as always to our fantastic behavioural coach, for providing the teams with meaningful and fun experiences to help embed our Responsible Business behaviours back into the business.
As part of our Responsible Business priorities, we are committed to driving social value and supporting local communities. Last week some of the Platinum team supported a local Refugee charity on the Strand, serving refreshments and engaging with refugees and local people experiencing homelessness. Thank you to our wonderful clients for allowing us to support this event, as well as allowing Platinum to provide valuable storage space for the charity within one of the properties we maintain to safely store their event equipment. Well done to our team for supporting with this event.
On Monday the Platinum team completed their epic 106 mile charity walk across the South Down's raising money for Sophie's Legacy. We couldn't be more proud of the team and their resilience in undergoing this challenge. A special thank you to Charlotte Fairall for coming along to cheer our weary adventures on their final steps to the finish line and for giving your valuable time to share with us the wonderful story of Sophie and the outstanding achievements of her charity.
