Big things are happening in Plymouth, with Plymouth City Council unveiling an ambitious plan to create 8,000 new jobs, 10,000 new homes, and 1,000 new businesses to boost the local economy. With 55 projects in the pipeline - from defence to tech, creative sectors to marine innovation - Britain's Ocean City is gearing up to be a powerhouse in our region. Richard Stevens, Chair of the Devon Chamber of Commerce and the Plymouth Growth Board, explains: "The strategy is a great reminder of the incredible work that goes on in every corner of our city and of the breadth of what Plymouth’s businesses offer the region and the country.
