The next instalment of Porsche Behind the Brand features Kellie Yardley, Regional Manager, Marketing at Porsche Cars GB. Kellie’s journey with Porsche began in the Legal team, where she worked for a year before transitioning to Product Marketing. Initially supporting the Product Manager, Kellie then took on managing the Porsche Lifestyle merchandise range. In 2021, she moved into Marketing Communications, where she supports the Centre Network with marketing planning, campaigns, and activations. One of the key challenges Kellie faces in her role is ensuring that each Porsche Centre, with its unique needs, receives the tailored support required. “Each Centre is very different and individual, and it's important to provide the support in the way that they need” she explains. When asked what she enjoys most about working for Porsche, Kellie highlighted the people. “The people – both internal and externally. I love getting to work at events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed and interacting with our customers who are so passionate about the brand, but we also have an amazing team spirit within the team of PCGB. This year, Goodwood was extra special for me – 9th Festival of Speed (missed 2020 due to certain reasons!), but I also celebrated my 10-year anniversary of working at Porsche Cars GB.” Porsche has played a significant role in supporting Kellie’s career development. “I have been fortunate that Porsche has supported career moves and development throughout my time with the brand, moving from the Legal team into the marketing department. Performing different roles has provided me with valuable insights around the business and helped shape my current role supporting our Centre network.” When it comes to choosing her favourite Porsche, for Kellie, the 991.1 911 Targa 4S is her top pick.
