No surprise there. NEC killed this initiative flat. Doubling the show’s previous rates, potentially more expensive for many than even SBS, zero promotion / no commitment to advertising investment, lack of understanding of the market and/or proper consultation with key players… the list goes on. A real shame and a failed opportunity for the marine industry and boating public alike. Very unlikely to rise again from the ashes, as confidence in the NEC as a show organiser will now be lost. A sad day too for, Richard Dove, the brave entrepreneur who launched and ran BoatLife for two years before the NEC acquired the event. BOATLIFE 2025 CANCELLED: NEC ANNOUNCE DIFFICULT DECISION Pendigo Events and the NEC Group confirm that BoatLife 2025, scheduled to take place from 6th to 9th February 2025 in Birmingham, has unfortunately been cancelled. We apologise for any disappointment this news may bring to exhibitors, attendees, and partners. All exhibitors and attendees are being contacted by Pendigo Events with respect to refunds. Pendigo Events and the NEC Group thank all those that were due to attend for their interest and support of BoatLife 2025 and look forward to welcoming them to another show soon.
