Mason is our 3rd Star Apprentice and has just completed his Apprenticeship in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems at The College of North West London! College of North West London - Congratulations Mason!! 🎉⁠ ⁠ We asked him about his Apprenticeship and this is what he had to say:⁠ ⁠ Mason: "My apprenticeship with Priory was very beneficial for me as I got hands on experience with great engineers with a lot of knowledge. I always had opportunities to do different aspects of my trade, including installation breakdowns and servicing which really helped me achieve my Level 3 at College.⁠ ⁠ My advice to future apprentices would be to ask as many questions as you can about the jobs and try to understand the theory side of things. Always write any piece of information down and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Sometimes you have to throw yourself in the deep end to gain confidence in what your doing.⁠ ⁠ I see myself doing more advanced jobs within my trade and possibly branching off into the refrigeration side. Our 2nd Star Apprentice is Rhys! ⁠ ⁠ Rhys has been a valued member of the Priory Team for a number of years completing firstly his Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing & Heating and now having almost finished his Level 3 which includes the Gas Module. He has carried out his Apprenticeship at North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) ⁠ We asked him about his Apprenticeship and this is what he had to say:⁠ ⁠ Rhys: "Through my time being an apprentice I have gained an enormous amount of confidence which has pushed me to to want to take on new responsibilities. It is always important to put 100% into everything you do whether it be a simple thing like installing a basin or something more daunting, then when you step back you can be proud of it and yourself!" ⁠ Congratulations Rhys! Ethan is our first Star Apprentice - he has been working for Priory just over two years and is completing his Level 3 - Electrical Installation Apprenticeship at M.I.T Skills We asked him about his Apprenticeship and this is what he had to say: Ethan: "The things I have learnt so far whilst completing my Apprenticeship are, how to read a skilled drawing and completing electrical work to it. If you were thinking of coming into the electrical apprenticeship world, I would make sure its the right trade for you as there is lots of hard work. Also being open to learning new things and listening to people who will teach you. You may not get it right the first time but take on board all the advice you’re given and you will get there. In the future I would like to become a electrical quantity surveyor to gain a deeper understanding on how the construction industry operates." Thank you Ethan! It's National Apprenticeship Week! At Priory, we are truly proud to provide Apprenticeships in areas such as Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Installation, and Plumbing & Heating. Currently, we have 24 apprentices who are at various points in their apprenticeship journey. Being able to support these young individuals as they grow not only in their selected fields but also as future Supervisors and Managers at Priory is incredibly fulfilling. They will inspire the next generation to follow their footsteps. We've selected three of our apprentices to highlight, as they consistently demonstrate full commitment and are integral members of the Priory family.
