To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we’re investing in our biggest and most exciting event yet: PRF Honduras on March 27-28! With over 4,000 attendees expected, including 400+ international and 80 national coffee buyers, PRF Honduras will bring unparalleled opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration in San Pedro Sula, a key Latin American coffee hub. This follows the recent success of the PRF: Farm Summit at Hacienda Cafetera La Pradera, where 1,387 coffee professionals gathered in an intimate, immersive setting. With 404 farmers and 96 roasters attending, the summit offered unique opportunities for direct connection and knowledge-sharing at the farm level. It’s inspiring to see how one of the PRF Seed winners, Nickolle Sánchez and Óscar Omar Alonzo Aguilar, are making a real difference by improving and furnishing educational centers in Honduras. Through these initiatives, children in coffee-growing communities are gaining access to better educational opportunities, a brighter future, and a pathway out of child labor. Nery Gonzales Hernández from COMSA will give a lecture at PRF: Farm Summit on "Building and Implementing High Capacity Biofertilizer Factories." These factories, equipped with laboratories, will process resources like molasses, pulp, coffee husk, chicken manure, charcoal, livestock waste, and vegetable residues to produce effective fertilizers.
