*NEW PROJECT SECURED* Today we received the order to provide the fire and security systems at The Mill development in Cardiff. The redevelopment of the former Arjo Wiggins paper mill site is being delivered by a partnership of Cadwyn, the Tirion Group and Lovell. Tirion has unlocked the potential of the long-disused site with support from the Welsh Government and Principality Building Society. The £100m urban village is one of Wales’ biggest regeneration projects and will create a vibrant and sustainable new community. Protectorcomms on site Protectorcomms Ltd are delighted to have secured the Fire Alarm modifications work at the Barry Engine rooms Vale of Glamorgan. Working in conjunction with Amser, Protectorcomms Ltd will be carrying out the modifications and installations of the Gent Fire Alarm Systems. The Vale of Glamorgan Council has put forward extensive plans to improve the centre, including redesigning and reconfiguring both the interior and exterior. The changes will see the main entrance redesigned, and outside communal spaces enhanced with cycle parking and seating. The car park will be extended and resurfaced, with new signage and landscaping work planned.
