🥸 Pulse Consult is Proud to Support Movember 2024 At Pulse Consult, we're committed to making a difference in the lives of our colleagues, friends, families, and communities. This November, our team is taking part in Movember to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Last year, our London office raised an incredible £425, and this year, we’re excited to expand our efforts with team members across our Nottingham, Birmingham, and Leicester offices. ♂️ Why Movember Matters Every year, Movember challenges us to engage with critical issues that affect men’s health. Globally, 60 men are lost to suicide every hour, and countless others are diagnosed with prostate and testicular cancers. By participating in Movember, we’re supporting a movement that funds life-saving research and provides resources for men to lead healthier, happier lives. 👟🚲🏊🏼 How We're Getting Involved Our team members are participating in a variety of ways. Whether by growing a moustache, committing to ‘Move for Mental Health’ by walking or running 60km in November, or hosting fundraising events, everyone can get involved in a way that works best for them. The 60km goal, symbolising the 60 men lost to suicide each hour, is a powerful reminder of our collective mission to support men’s health. We may be getting ever so slightly competitive - a Strava leaderboard has been set up to track everyone’s progress, perfect for our cyclists, runners, and movers across the team! 🙌🏼 Some of our Mo Bro's are featured below and the team includes: David Banfield I Tom Fairchild I Kristian Moseley I Matthew Taylor (who isn't used to having a cold face!) 🌟 Excited to announce the successful Practical Completion of the Sustainable Construction Centre at WCG Rugby college! In just under 12 weeks, we’ve transformed a former nursery into a state-of-the-art teaching facility, dedicated to advancing low and zero-carbon technologies. This new centre will provide hands-on training for students and contractors in the installation and maintenance of sustainable technologies, including air and ground source heat pumps, solar panels, and solar thermal systems. We’re proud to equip the next generation with the skills they need for a greener future. “A huge thank you to the incredible team at Pulse Consult for their full Project Management and Quantity Surveying services, ensuring we delivered this project on time and within budget”. The Warwickshire College Group is now gearing up for the operational fit-out, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact this facility will have on low-carbon construction training.
