QEII Centre

We would like to pay tribute to our much loved colleague Chris Gaylard who has sadly passed away unexpectedly.   Having joined the QEII over seven years ago, Chris was an intrinsic member of the team with his knowledge and expertise integral to supporting clients as well as developing his team.   Chris always brought an infectious energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude to his work, and was cherished by all his colleagues. He was excellent at building rapport and relationships with his clients who often felt more like friends; almost every call he made or received, there would be laughter and happiness ringing out across the office.   Chris was also very heavily involved in supporting the Centre’s internal communications programmes as well as actively championing our involvement with assisting communities in London. He would always be the first to sign up whether it was tidying up a community garden, building new pathways and wildlife habitats for a forest school or supporting young adults with learning disabilities.   We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with the Gaylard family and all who knew and worked with him.

We’re excited to announce that we have just launched our new Autumn/ Winter menu. Expertly crafted by Executive Head Chef Danilo Barbagallo and his team, the new menu continues to have sustainability running right throughout it, from the supply chain to the delicious, fresh and seasonal ingredients that your guests will experience on the event day. The latest menu includes a range of new dishes and a further focus on seasonal sourcing to shorten supply chains and reduce food waste. They are not only using the best ingredients for the time of year but also use parts of an ingredient that might otherwise go to waste. Creating a sustainable future at the QEII. We're committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainability. Our interactive floor plan has a brand-new look.
