🔬✨International Day of Women and Girls in Science!
Today, we recognise the incredible contributions of women in STEM and the need for greater representation—especially in tech and finance.
At QRT, we are passionate about maths and science and strive to share this passion, helping to inspire and support more young women in STEM. Through hands-on experiences and financial support, we invest in initiatives at various levels:
🔬 Research: We sponsor female PhD research students during their studies and provide financial support for women joining prestigious research programmes, such as IHP in Paris.
🎓 University: We offer scholarships and bursaries for young women studying mathematics, computer science, engineering sciences, or AI at partner universities, including ENS Paris-Saclay, ENS Ulm, CentraleSupélec, and the University of Warwick.
📚 Secondary school: We support STEM weekends where young girls engage with female mathematicians at ENS Paris-Saclay, fund maths exhibitions, summer camps or programmes for underrepresented students at Manchester University, Paris Dauphine University, and CentraleSupélec.
Over the next two weeks, we'll also be welcoming young students from underrepresented backgrounds to our QRT offices in London and Paris to challenge stereotypes and inspire ambition.
A huge thank you to our colleagues for their dedication and engagement. We’ll continue to invest and encourage young women in STEM—fostering innovation and excellence for the many years to come.
