The weaponisation of human vulnerabilities… how to protect and mitigate against manipulation by bad actors… It was a privilege to join the panel in conversation with ethical hacker Jenny Radcliffe at this morning’s opening session for The Alternative Legal IT Summit. Jenny brought home just how vulnerable we are as businesses to the motivated hacker playing on our human weaknesses. No law firm could confidently say they were immune in this area. More focus and practical skills training for staff on how to spot and challenge potential bad actors is needed. Would you be confident to challenge an innocent and official looking visitor tailgating you into your offices? Here’s my response to the question ‘how are HiveRisk Limited seeing law firms handle these issues in the field. Stay safe out there. A great panel session: Susan Glenholme, Debenhams Ottaway, David Robinson, Herbert Smith Freehills, Jeff Wright, Foot Anstey Alternative Events Credit to Kirsty Pappin for the video clip.
