For our latest client spotlight, we are talking about the Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG). We have worked with SIG since 2011 and our own Helen Weedon was also appointed Managing Director back in 2019. It is the only satcoms industry association to bring together people on a very technical level to discuss and jointly resolve common challenges. Here are just a few of the recent highlights: SIG hosted a roundtable around Flat Panel Antennas during SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition. The group has also discussed this topic in industry magazines, including the March issues of both SatMagazine and Microwave Product Digest. https://lnkd.in/ePBj-txX https://lnkd.in/eU6imPBT SIG announced the winners of the 2025 SIG awards, presented at Satellite 2025 - https://lnkd.in/eg4ijTbt SIG is running its next workshop alongside CABSAT, hosted by ARABSAT - https://lnkd.in/ex3xbVi5

We are proud to be supporting the first ever Welsh regional heat of the UK Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKROC)! On Friday 21st March, the Snowdonia Space Centre will welcome 22 teams from 13 Welsh schools as they showcase their engineering and teamwork skills launching rockets in a thrilling bid to qualify for a place at the International Final at the Paris Air Show in June.
Are you ready for lift off? 🚀 Ceredigion PRU 🚀 Coleg Gwent 🚀 Fitzalan High school 🚀 Haverfordwest High VC School 🚀 Llanwern High School 🚀 St Cyres School 🚀 Ysgol Bro Dinefwr 🚀 Ysgol Maes Y Gwendraeth The team at the Snowdonia Space Centre can't wait to welcome you to the Welsh regional final of the UK Youth Rocketry Challenge (UK ROC)! The challenge is aimed at students aged 11 – 18 from any secondary schools, colleges, educational facilities or youth groups to design, build and launch a model rocket with a fragile payload. We are proud to see such a strong Welsh contingent this year with 22 teams from 13 schools. The rocket must reach a set altitude with specific total flight duration and must adhere to the specific set rules. The competition’s rules and scoring parameters change each year to challenge the students’ ingenuity and encourage a fresh approach to rocket design. Good luck to all those taking part and we'll see you on Friday! #SnowdoniaSpaceCentre #SnowdoniaAerospace #SpaceWales #Wales
