This week, Radio Design had the distinct honor of visiting the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM). We are committed to advancing business education and nurturing top talent. Last week, Eric Hawthorn Hawthorn, our Executive Chairman at Radio Design, joined a technical delegation in India supporting UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. During the visit the Foreign Secretary met Indian Prime Minister Modi and launched a landmark Technology Security Initiative aimed at enhancing cooperation in telecoms security, AI, critical minerals and other emerging technologies. Since 2008, Radio Design India has been a key player in the telecom sector, producing over half a million high-quality filter products. Our Manesar, Gurugram facility serves both Indian and international markets, showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation in telecommunications manufacturing. Fantastic to make a flying visit to Farnborough International this week, meeting old and new contacts showcasing their innovations in aerospace technology and how our advancements at Radio Design could be applied. Highlight for me: Although the B-52 was first flown 72 years ago, it was an amazing sight to see it fly over the airfield.

Throwback to this time last week when some members of the RD team embarked on an 11-mile walk from Leeds back to our office in Shipley, accompanied by some very energetic four-legged friends! This was the first of a number of team-building social activities we have planned... watch this space!
