🙌 🤩 More than 270 people gathered at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds last night to see 2025’s Yorkshire Leadership Awards winners crowned. Natalie Boswell, business development director at Lloyds Banking Group, was named overall Leader of the Year, see the complete list of winners and more images from the evening here 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eM2BtS5Q The audience heard from guest speaker, Tim Brear, from the awards’ charity partner, REACT Disaster Response. REACT is a humanitarian rapid response charity, operating in the UK and overseas. The judging panel was 2019 overall winner Taryn Edge, 2024’s diversity and inclusion leader Sarah Tulip, Doncaster Chamber of Commerce chief executive Daniel Fell, and African Caribbean Business Ventures chief executive Karl Oxford. Sarah Gregory, Sophie Crabtree and Sam M. have had a great day at the Space Tech Assembly hosted by Space Hub Yorkshire at Nexus Leeds Sarah, Rob Heron, Andrew Butt and Yun-Hang Cho kicked off the first panel session of the morning, chaired by Paula Gill, discussing where Northern tech and manufacturing companies can collaborate to overcome potential barriers to being part of the space industry. The synergies between Slipstream Design's heritage in terrestrial sensing and communications technology stand us in good stead for transitioning into space, with the help of other experts around us.
