We’re high speed, high frequency designers passionate about RF and digital technology. We specialise in the development of RF, digital and test sub-systems for the aerospace, communications, government agency and security sectors. Founded in 2011, we’re young and growing with a strong customer base who come back to us for our hands on and flexible approach. We thrive on bringing our customers ideas to life. Slipstream Design’s key areas of expertise are the design of Power Amplifiers, Transponders, Low Noise Amplifiers, High Speed Digital Electronics and Embedded Controller Software. We take projects from concept through to volume manufacture and pride ourselves in providing responsive and customer focused services which are tailored to suit each and every time. Design expertise Our high calibre team of design engineers will bring depth and breadth of experience to de-risk sub-system and product development. Our Design expertise includes: RF and Power Amplifiers Transponders High Speed Digital Hardware and Software Design Control Electronics Mechanical and Thermal Management Test Interfacing Applications for our designs have included Radar systems, pulse de-interleavers, transponder systems, man packs, bespoke equipment for intelligence gathering and mobile phone base stations. We have specialised knowledge of high power amplifier development using GaAs, GaN and LDMOS technologies and regularly work within the X, S, Ka and Ku bands at >150W.

🙌 🤩 More than 270 people gathered at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds last night to see 2025’s Yorkshire Leadership Awards winners crowned. Our knowledge of Digital RF sensing and communication technologies has evolved even further as we rise to the challenge of developing an agile, adaptable software-defined 5G radio unit that is set transform telecommunications and private network infrastructure and reliability.
DSIT’s Future Network Programmes: Hardware As the Future Network Programmes conclude, UKTIN is working with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to reflect on the government-funded projects, outlining the key outcomes and the lessons learned to help improve future telecoms initiatives. Hardware forms the building blocks of a telecoms network, and advancements are focused on, among other things, improving sustainability and reducing costs. Incorporating the right features is critical for facilitating reliable connectivity across the UK while ensuring the country’s networks remain secure.
