RPS are specialists in supplying Safety Critical staff, supplying to a number of clients up and down the United Kingdom. Our team of family made staff ranging from PTS labourers to experienced Engineering Supervisors ensure to provide a quality service to all. From 2017, we've consistently received excellent feedback on our staff working on projects & blockades on a regular basis. Hoping to continue providing our services and to supply to many more in the near future! RPS are experts in access planning and work efficiently behind the scenes to ensure clients are able to deliver their works, free from avoidable hassle and delay. RPS understand that clients both large and small require a bespoke planning system tailor made to fit their individual needs which is why RPS offer a full Possession management package alongside an Ad-Hoc services for safe work packs, line blockages and individual worksites and isolation.     Our Rail team were recently appointed by Dyer & Butler to respond to an emergency at the Honiton Tunnel in the Southern region.    After receiving the call on Tuesday afternoon, we mobilised plant and equipment arriving on site that evening to begin track clearance operations.    We successfully cleared the track and installed a temporary retaining system, which allowed Network Rail to reopen the line by 4 pm the following day.   Despite these efforts, the embankment continued to slip. We engaged additional resources to monitor the situation and carry out remedial work throughout the week.    We assisted the client with options to prepare a temporary design, which resulted in constructing a Kingpost retaining wall, with work commencing on Friday night.   Our team mobilised all necessary resources to build an augured concrete Kingpost wall along the foot of the embankment, and we completed the work, reopening the line by 5:00 am on Monday morning.   Find out more about our rail capabilities here: https://lnkd.in/eeUXxHBR #VanElle #TotalFoundationSolutions #Rail #Engineering #KingpostRetainingWall
