Here at at Reach Volunteering we’re spending International Day of Charity in a staff and trustees strategy session looking at how the Citizen story can help us define our purpose and achieve even greater impact for the charities we support. The Citizen story recognises that we are naturally collaborative and can, and want to, work together to make things better. And we need everyone to take part to get the best outcomes for society. We see this willingness and active participation in practice every day in our work with civil society organisations and volunteer-led groups raising up their communities, fighting injustice and tackling the climate and nature crises. Working with our service team, she ensures the review process of roles and volunteers, and email enquiries, are dealt with on time. Aman, as she is known to us, also supports our service design cycle, and with financial administration.
