Luxury diary and notebook brand Rebel Stationery has gone live with its first product drop on Holly & Co, a curated marketplace for creators and small businesses. Holly & Co is a marketplace with more than 20,000 items all touched by hand and carefully curated – from thoughtful gifts and homeware to jewellery, clothing and stationery. The brainchild of notonthehighstreet founder Holly Tucker MBE, Holly & Co champions creative small businesses (and women – in fact 95% of the businesses on Holly & Co are female-led). Earlier this week, Rebel Stationery’s first product drop went live on Holly & Co, which is the perfect platform for the brand that gives back to communities, as co-founder and creative director Annie Couldrey explains: “Three months ago, we were just coming down off the high of launching at London Stationery Show 2024, when a message popped up from the wonderful Holly Tucker MBE, founder of Holly & Co, to say she would love to see our products on her marketplace. Aside from being momentarily floored, we knew that this would be the perfect partnership for us, with Holly’s love of independent British brands, and her completely getting what it is we’re trying to achieve. We had such a joyful morning with the lovely team Showcase Creative Ltd yesterday, who took the time to show us around their, quite frankly, outrageous showroom. . We already knew they were pretty darn good at what they do, having fallen in love with the beautiful slipcases they’ve made for our books. So so proud and excited to announce that Bex and George became members of The Stationers' Company on Monday! . This historic livery in the City of London represents the communications, content, and of course print and stationery industries, and is a wonderful representation of old traditions moving into the future. . Founded over 600 years ago, with merchants selling their wares from “stations” in the shadows of St. Paul’s Cathedral, this is where the beginnings of “stationery” were formed. Starting with illuminators and manuscript writers, the Company has always embraced new technology, meaning it has managed to stay relevant throughout its existence. From Caxton’s original printing press, to today’s online and digital media, The Stationers has never been afraid to adapt and learn, and has done so much for our industry, from creating copyright to championing education. This is one of the stunning textiles woven for us by women in Quechua in the Peruvian Andes. Awamaki support the communities who make these textiles, and which form the basis for our new collection of notebooks and diaries. . We spent an afternoon with the master archivists Cultural Heritage Digitisation to get these beautiful scans. The quality and precision of this process is something to be marvelled at, and will make our stationery something to be treasured for a lifetime. . We want to focus our work on the women who create fabrics across the globe, and this new relationship with CHD is a huge step forward in our mission for excellence. .
