    Flexibility, Work Life Balance & Mental health are they actually important……. ? In reality they mean something different to each of us. But to me they are crucial. When I first started in recruitment, I never thought I would get the opportunity to control my schedule, choose my work location everyday and really integrate my work and life into one. I talk about this a ton on the revenue leaders uncovered podcast, but honestly for someone who has openly struggled with mental health, anxiety issues in the past…. regaining control and being the decider of how I manage my time, really has changed the quality of life. Now, I’m not saying I work less. Infact I work more than I have ever done…. However, I manage my time to ensure my life and work keep moving forward, if I need to take some time here, I will do more there. Just having that control, allows for both professional & personal goals to be consistently hit rather than sacrificing one or another. He stated, "What they do care about is the problems that we solve and the value that we bring." The CRO drew attention to Cipher's solidity, gained from its 25-year industry presence, and the backing of a multinational giant, which positions the company uniquely, untied from the customary VC or Private Equity obligations. Adam also delved into the topic of recruitment, underscoring the dominance of company culture in attracting the right candidates. "We have a very specific type of person that thrives here," he said, building a picture of an environment that favours entrepreneurial, autonomous individuals, accountable and imbued with soft skills and tenacity. Much emphasis was laid on clear expectations from the get-go. Cipher has also leveraged the power of branding in its journey so far, with a focus on revamping their website and investment in a brand image that righteously personifies the company. This all reflects in one of Adam's key quotes: "One of the first things we did actually, we rented a warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. We hired a production crew and we filmed the commercial. And we wanted to change the perception day 1." Transitioning from the entrepreneurial landscape to a broader sense of leadership, Adam delved into his personal journey, the significance of mentorship, and the pleasure derived from aiding others to navigate their careers. Expressing the importance of soft skills, Adam said, "The ideal a player is someone who performs well, but also has all of those soft skills and they give back and they share..." In discussing driving revenue, Adam revealed Cipher's strategic focus on brand building, creating awareness, and alignment with ideal partners. The company leverages OEM technologies and builds sustainable channel businesses by associating with MSPs to connect with their existing customer bases. Expressing the need to delve deeper in relationships, Adam shared, "We're now considering segmenting based on verticals to expand their success and reduce the cost of sale."
