Digital banking with the personal touch, helping businesses and personal savers grow.
About us
Recognise Bank was founded in 2017 by experienced business owners who recognised the disconnect between traditional business banking and the needs of modern SMEs. We were frustrated with the lack of understanding, certainty and flexibility offered within the industry. In short, we believed that we could build a better bank. And so, we did. We received our banking licence in 2021 and quickly grew our community of loyal business and personal customers, with the help of our dedicated, diverse, and expert team. Recognising our customers is at the heart of what we do. Today, our hard work and customer centricity is demonstrated by our excellent rating on Trustpilot. We offer a range of award-winning, secure FSCS protected savings accounts with competitive interest rates for individuals and businesses alike. Recognise Bank is authorised by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA). Our eligible saving products are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 for individuals and businesses and £170,000 for joint accounts. We also offer a range of specialist lending products, and we aim to be as flexible as possible with all of our offerings and services, no matter what your business needs. It’s why our customers, brokers and partners love working with us. 🌟 Rated ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot 🌟 Rated 4.88/5 on Smart Money People 🌟 Rated 4.6/5 on Google 🏆‘Commended’ for the Best Business Variable Rate Deposit Account Provider at the 2024 Business Moneyfacts Awards 🥇Winner of the Best Monthly Interest Savings Provider at the 2024 Moneynet Personal Finance Awards

A poll of UK adults by the Mental Health Foundation found that over 50% of people were feeling either stressed or anxious as a result of financial circumstances. A survey, commissioned by Recognise Bank, has explored the mental health of SME owners, the impact day-to-day challenges are having on it, and what is being done, and what can be done, to prevent what many mental health charities and experts are describing as a pandemic in its own right. What steps do you think businesses can take to better support their mental health? 👉 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/edMeJAjH #mentalhealth #SMEmentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #workplacewellness #smallbusinesssupport #SMEwellness #SMEsupport #mentalhealthawareness ##SmallBusinessBritain #UKsmallbusiness

🌟The BDM team in Manchester spent yesterday working for their local depot of charity, The Bread and Butter Thing. Their day started with preparing pallets of fresh and packaged food, loading them into the vans to be dispersed to the community hubs around Manchester, Ellesmere Port and Stoke-On-Trent. 🚚💨Once the vans had left the depot, they moved on to hand shovelling 4-5 tonnes of potatoes into smaller quantities for the eventual recipients. It was hard work, but every scoop brought us closer to making a difference in our community! 💪❤️ What makes The Bread and Butter Thing so special? They provide affordable access to food for families who need a helping hand. By partnering with major supermarkets, they save countless items from going to waste and offer them at discounted prices. This means families can enjoy quality meals without the financial strain. 👉 Want to learn more about their amazing work? 🚀Last week our Chief Operating Officer, Ronelle A., had the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion on AI at a conference held by Newcastle Strategic Solutions. 🌟Key summary: • There is a clear opportunity to use AI to elevate and transform the customer experience in financial services. This could be by collecting and analysing data in a more efficient way, allowing us to respond to customer needs quicker, or by using AI to complete the more transactional tasks, and humans would then have more time to dedicate to the complex/customer facing tasks. • When introducing AI to the customer journey it’s important to be transparent and clearly identify the customer benefits e.g. fraud detection. • To mitigate the risks of using AI there’s a need for more regulation, but it’s also clear the technology is moving at such a fast pace it’s difficult for this to happen. • AI won’t reduce the workforce, it will only enhance it. The AI should increase an individuals productivity, meaning they are generally happier and more fulfilled. There’s also a likelihood it will create new roles e.g. developers. • There’s a lot of pressure and “FOMO” around AI at the moment, but you have to be true to your business. It’s important to understand your problem statement then decide if AI solves that problem or not. However, it is going to impact all of our lives in some way so there is no harm in learning about it and understanding the developing technology. #2024ClientConference #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #MachineLearning #GenerativeAI
